Tire warranty
Every tire we sell is new and carries its manufacturer’s warranty: workmanship and materials coverage and, on many models, a treadwear (mileage) warranty shown on the product page.
Manufacturer warranties
All tires are brand new and covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty. Coverage differs by brand and model, but typically includes:
- Workmanship and materials: protection against manufacturing defects for a set number of years from purchase, prorated by remaining tread.
- Treadwear (mileage) warranty: on many all-season, all-weather and touring tires, a guaranteed distance in kilometres. Where we have it, the mileage is shown on each model and size page.
- Uniformity: ride vibration caused by the tire, usually within the first portion of tread life.
How to make a claim
- Keep your XYZ Tires invoice (it is emailed with your order) and your installation and rotation records.
- Contact us at help@xyztires.com or +1-416-477-6651 with your order number, photos of the tire and the DOT code on the sidewall.
- We will help you start the claim with the manufacturer; many claims are inspected by an authorized dealer of that brand.
What warranties do not cover
Damage from road hazards (potholes, nails, curbs), improper inflation, misalignment, incorrect installation, racing or off-road misuse, and normal wear are generally excluded. Rotating your tires regularly and keeping them at the pressure on your door placard protects both your tires and your warranty.
Frequently asked questions

Yes. Every tire we sell is new and carries the full manufacturer warranty.
What is a treadwear warranty?
A manufacturer’s promise that the tread will last a certain distance (for example 80,000 km) under normal use, with a prorated credit if it wears out sooner. Rotation records are usually required.
Who handles warranty claims?
The manufacturer decides claims. We help you start the process: email us your order number, photos and the DOT code.
